The most important thing I ever learned (am still learning) about writing was that it&#039;s not only ok, but actually important and necessary, to write crap, make mistakes and fail. Those experiences teach you so much. Getting your work to readers and having it criticised and critiqued is also part of this process.

There&#039;s no such thing as a &#039;born writer&#039; - we have varying degrees of natural talent, which we can&#039;t control, but what we *can* control is how much effort and work and time we apply to developing our talents. 

Writers - be fearless!</description>
